About the position

The Field Operations Manager at DeepL is responsible for driving operational excellence and supporting the company's growth strategy through effective sales operations. This role involves collaborating with various teams to optimize pipeline impact, monitor key performance indicators, and facilitate communication between central functional teams and the sales organization. The position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to inspire and coach team members, fostering a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

  • Co-design and implement sales coverage models, productivity targets, territory definitions, and account assignments.
  • Drive and support transformation and change activities across regions.
  • Monitor relevant KPIs and prepare analyses to support senior management decision-making.
  • Develop and monitor the sales pipeline, identifying gaps and assessing pipeline building programs.
  • Coordinate demand generation activities across regions, collaborating with marketing, customer, and sales teams.
  • Prepare presentations and management documents for the Leadership team, including quarterly business reviews.
  • Support the yearly budgeting and planning process.
  • Partner with People & Culture to monitor and drive seller performance initiatives.
  • Act as a conduit for communication between central functional teams and the sales organization, providing insights and priorities.
  • Support Sales Leaders in their absence by providing forecasts and delivering QBRs.
  • Define and execute the sales cadence to deliver insights, forecasts, and business outcomes.
