About the position

The Field Operations Manager (Water) at Hydromax USA is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of field staff, ensuring productivity, quality control, and safety measures are met. This role involves managing training, scheduling, and compliance with safety regulations while working closely with the Project Manager to implement policies and procedures. The position is crucial for maintaining high standards in service delivery and public safety in the utilities sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to all Field Operation Managers and Supervisors.
• Manage training, scheduling, wages, and hours for field staff.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and management team to set and implement policies, procedures, processes, and budgets.
• Develop operations systems, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for completing work, equipment utilization, and equipment/inventory management.
• Communicate with customers and the safety department to ensure compliance with OSHA and other governmental regulations, and ensure project safety goals are met.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a related field with 1-2 years in operations management.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Proficient in using current technology; smartphone, tablets, MS Office tools, etc.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to walk up to 5 miles or more per day in various terrain and weather conditions.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds.
