About the position

The Manager, Field Sales is responsible for overseeing all aspects of MABI brands within the assigned market, focusing on distributor planning, programming, and account execution. This role is crucial for delivering the annual sales plan and ensuring effective communication and collaboration with distributors to enhance product distribution and sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Execute all aspects of the sales plan with the distributor network.
  • Present brand plans, pricing, promotions, and programming according to business plan parameters.
  • Monitor and analyze assigned territory budgets.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with distributors, including monitoring product levels and increasing shipments and depletions.
  • Plan and manage the WABP (Wholesaler Annual Business Plan).
  • Ensure brand execution at the market level, including pricing, shelf placement, cold box placement, display, draft, and bottle placement.
  • Monitor and track marketing programs.
  • Control operating and A&P expenses, managing budget and expenses appropriately.
  • Stay informed about competitive trends and report developments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • 3+ years' experience working with distributors/wholesalers.
  • 3+ years' experience in the beverage category.
  • Strong analytical and math skills for budgeting and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word & Excel).
  • Ability to travel as necessary.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
