About the position

The Field Sales Operations Manager for North America Startups (NAMER SUP) at Amazon Web Services (AWS) plays a crucial role in driving the growth of the Startups segment. This position involves collaborating with Go-To-Market (GTM) stakeholders to secure high-growth startups as primary Cloud Service Providers (CSP). The manager will optimize workflows, extract actionable insights from data, and lead change management initiatives to enhance operational productivity across the organization. The role is pivotal in supporting AWS's mission to empower startups by removing roadblocks and driving solutions that facilitate effective sales operations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Go-To-Market and Business Development teams to drive growth in the Startups segment.
  • Optimize workflows and extract actionable insights from data to support sales operations.
  • Define key sales support systems aligned with business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships across functions such as Sales, Business Development, Partner, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Lead change management initiatives for process improvements.
  • Enhance operational productivity across the NAMER SUP organization.
  • Remove roadblocks and drive solutions to empower the sales force.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience.
  • Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translating results into actionable deliverables.
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, and Salesforce automation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience working within a high-growth technology company.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools or BI tools.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership.
