About the position

The Field Service Engineer at SCREEN SPE USA is responsible for providing onsite support for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to work under pressure while adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for installation, maintenance, and site support for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Evaluate and diagnose problems and make proper repairs.
• Follow and help develop detailed procedures.
• Collaborate with co-workers, customers, and field support to isolate and resolve problems under strict time constraints.
• Troubleshoot and document findings.

Requirements

• Associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Completion of military technical training and field experience may substitute for an associate degree.
• Ability to perform successfully in a demanding environment with varying workloads.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Experience using alignment tools (micrometers/calipers/multimeters/current clamp).
• Ability to read schematics/plumbing diagrams.
• Familiarity with chemical handling and protective equipment hazards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs.
• Must be able to pass customer background check.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and procedures.
