Responsibilities

  • Travel to Hamilton Storage Customer sites for new installation and trainings for 2-6 weeks at a time.
  • Power up and troubleshoot systems, ensuring functionality and reliability.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting at the system level.
  • Provide daily progress updates to the back-office team.
  • Complete and pass the warm internal qualification test.
  • Conduct cold system setup and testing.
  • Train users on cold system operation and troubleshoot in cold conditions (-20°C).
  • Perform and pass the cold internal site acceptance test (SAT).
  • Assist with SAT procedures as required.
  • Provide support to service and maintenance teams.
  • Assist the service team with preventative maintenance calls as needed.
  • Perform system corrections, repairs, and implement recommended improvements.
  • Offer feedback to engineering teams to inform system enhancements.
  • Use electronic and mechanical test equipment effectively.
  • Complete and submit all necessary paperwork and expenses in a timely manner.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and prompt corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Customer Service, Product Management, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Follow company ISO and Health & Safety standards.
  • Complete all assigned tasks within the planned timeline.
  • Lift and hold 50 lbs or more frequently.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to work as part of a cohesive team as well as independently.
  • Ability to manage and meet schedule commitments.
  • Adept at reading schematics and assembly drawings.
  • Able and willing to take direction.
  • Able and willing to learn.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with on-site installations of large automation capital equipment or construction size projects preferred.
  • Machine shop experience preferred.
