About the position

This position supports the Imaging Systems business within the Greater Hartford, CT area. The primary responsibility of this role is customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and provide Diagnosis and Treatment imaging solutions at customer sites. The successful candidate will be involved in building, deploying, and/or integrating X-Ray and Cath Lab solutions. This includes collaborating on fulfilling technical implementation deliverables such as detailed design documentation, system build, configuration, and testing. Additionally, the role involves resolving technical issues and offering proactive technical support to ensure customer satisfaction. As a consultant based on customer requirements, you will provide technical recommendations that best suit the environment. Documentation of solutions is crucial to ensure that support teams and other consultants can participate in support and onward development. The position requires a strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to effectively install, diagnose, and repair equipment. The candidate must also be able to read and interpret schematics and site drawings with minimal assistance. This role is essential in ensuring that Philips continues to deliver high-quality healthcare technology solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer relationships through effective technical support and service.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a field service environment.
  • Previous field service experience with X-Ray and Cath Lab products.
  • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
  • Knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and site drawings with minimal assistance.
