About the position

In this role, you will be responsible for achieving successful on-site installation, servicing, and repair processes of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision. You will follow detailed work instructions and collaborate with Engineering teams to amend any outdated or incorrect instructions. Your focus will be on continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly resolve any administrative difficulties related to the delivery and installation of proper equipment. Additionally, you will train customers on the proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment. Representing Honeywell at industry conferences and providing technical presentations will also be part of your responsibilities. You will program databases for all supported systems to meet specified sequences of operation and equipment manufacturers' recommendations within preventative maintenance agreements and service projects. Calibration and check-out of control systems will be essential to ensure that specified sequences of operations and commissioning obligations are met. You will create, modify, and maintain customer user interface system graphics, instruct customer personnel on the operation and maintenance of temperature control systems, and provide information to update drawings and keep records of equipment for as-built documentation. Your role will also involve advising the service manager and sales representatives of additional sales potential while performing start-up, commissioning, and owner training tasks. You will generate reactive quotes to meet customer needs for energy optimization, system performance, repairs, and upgrades. Managing service projects, parts ordering, coordination, and subcontractors will be crucial, as well as managing service work, maintenance contracts, and project scheduling for assigned customer accounts.
