This position requires you to operate primarily from home while frequently traveling to client sites during normal office hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. However, it is important to note that you will often be required to travel to and from client sites outside of normal business hours, which is where you will accumulate most of your overtime hours. The compensation for this role includes a base salary starting at $90,000, along with overtime pay, quarterly bonuses, and additional travel bonuses. Your responsibilities will include ensuring optimum customer satisfaction with all company products and services. You will be tasked with installing, monitoring, assessing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment within your assigned area of responsibility. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining wired computer networks, providing remote diagnosis and repair support, and relaying repetitive field service failures or equipment issues to Tier 3 specialists. Completing and submitting regulatory and company-required documentation is also a key part of your role. You may be required to represent the company at technical shows and exhibitions as needed. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 4 years of military or industry experience with electronic or electrical process equipment and controls. While you will gain proficiency in various areas over time, prior experience in field service or product installation, as well as basic wired and wireless network integration, will be beneficial. Knowledge of the basic anatomy and physiology of the eye is also a plus. This position demands a high level of dedication to customer service and the ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as you will need to effectively interact with customers, co-workers, and supervisors in both formal and informal settings. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite is required, and you should possess a sense of flexibility and teamwork. Physical demands include the ability to stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, as well as frequently lifting more than 25 lbs. A safe driving record is also necessary, and any drug or alcohol-related driving infractions should be disclosed prior to the interview.
