You will also be required to inspect your vehicle for any defects or safety issues before, during, and after your trips, and to submit a written Vehicle Condition Report at the end of each journey. It is essential to check shipping papers to confirm that hazardous materials are not included in your load, and to ensure that all necessary shipping documentation is available for inspection during deliveries. Additionally, you will be tasked with properly handling and completing all paperwork related to vehicle operations and freight movements. This includes manifest sheets, security seal sheets, bills of lading, shipping orders, and freight bills. Your attention to detail and commitment to following procedures will be vital in maintaining the high standards of service that Southeastern Freight Lines is known for.
