About the position

As the Finance & Administration Director at the CSt. Loui Job Corps Center in St. Louis, MO, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial and administrative operations of the center. This full-time position requires a commitment to providing quality services to local youth, ensuring that all financial activities align with government and management directives. You will oversee various functions including property management, food services, facility maintenance, and the management of student records. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a supportive environment for both staff and students, as you work to improve lives through effective financial management and administrative oversight. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing budgets, financial forecasts, and projections, as well as conducting cost analyses to ensure the financial health of the center. You will create and enforce policies and procedures, making necessary adjustments to maintain compliance with all relevant regulations. Regular audits will be performed under your guidance to ensure adherence to financial and contractual obligations, safeguarding the interests of students and the organization alike. Your leadership will extend to managing direct reports, providing them with the support and resources needed to succeed in their roles. This position not only requires strong financial acumen but also a dedication to mentoring and developing your team, ensuring that all staff are aligned with the center's mission of service and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage finance and administration operations, including property, food services, facility maintenance, and student records.
  • Develop and implement budgets, financial forecasts, projections, and cost analyses.
  • Create and ensure adherence to policies and procedures, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Perform audits to ensure compliance with financial and contractual services for students.
  • Provide leadership and support to direct reports to assist in their success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in finance or administration.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
