About the position

The Finance Department Clerk position is a full-time support role within the corporate finance department of a family-owned manufacturing company. This role is highly visible and involves various accounting and collections tasks, particularly in the automotive manufacturing sector. The position is on-site and is initially a contract role with the potential for direct hire after six months.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and logging in visitors with a high level of professionalism
  • Accounts Receivable support
  • 3 way accounts payable matching
  • PO receipts, filing and check processing duties
  • Some banking duties
  • Data entry
  • Assist with processing accounts receivable, including collections activities

Requirements

  • Associates degree preferred
  • AR/AP experience
  • Strong math acuity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills
