Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted business partner to executive team members and establish strong business partnerships across the organization including finance, business operations, data & analytics, growth, transformation, and business excellence.
  • Bring the 'why' of financial performance, not just the 'what', delivering actionable insights to your internal clients both directly and via the broader finance team.
  • Lead planning and analysis discussions, including annual and quarterly planning, product margin analysis, monthly forecasting, month-end close and financial reporting with consideration for P&L impact.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Work broadly across the finance team to drive real time forecasting, standardization of reporting, improvement in month end close timing and process automation.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, including offshore analysts.
  • Create KPI and dashboard frameworks working with the Data Analytics team such that all KPIs have definitions, are tracked in real-time, and are integrated into the firm's financial reporting.
  • Drive other finance projects that you and others identify to continually further the firm's understanding and improvement of its economics.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or any other related field, CPA, MBA or CMA designations
  • Minimum 10 years of finance experience with hands-on experience in FP&A; large enterprise corporate finance experience preferred
  • Workday financials and Workday Adaptive Planning experience a plus
  • Prior experience working within a subscription-based business is a plus
