About the position

Lead the financial planning, analysis, and compliance efforts at IMEC as our Finance Manager! In this critical role, you'll manage the organization's financial strategies, budgets, and reporting. You'll ensure compliance with financial regulations while driving process improvements and mitigating risks. Additionally, you'll mentor team members, foster cross-departmental collaboration, and contribute to IMEC's mission of delivering value to clients. The Finance Manager is responsible for developing financial strategies, preparing budgets, monitoring fiscal performance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role involves analyzing financial data, generating reports, and mentoring team members while identifying opportunities for process improvement. The Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting organizational goals through sound financial planning and cross-departmental collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to guide decision-making.
• Generate accurate and timely financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate audits and implement recommendations to strengthen compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, CMA) are a plus.
• Proven experience in financial management, with preference for non-profit sector experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Salesforce, Excel).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
