As a Finance Manager at CBRE, you will play a pivotal role in managing a team responsible for the Finance Strategy and Operations functions. This includes overseeing the annual budget preparation, monthly forecasts, strategic planning, and management reporting. You will be tasked with maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls, ensuring that the team produces accurate and timely financial outputs. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding the team through daily activities, establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring that staff are cross-trained effectively. You will also be responsible for conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and mentoring team members to foster their professional development. In this role, you will oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that all financial reports and analyses are accurate and meet the needs of senior management. You will review balance sheet account analyses, cash flow statements, and consolidated reporting packs, ensuring that all financial data is reliable and compliant with company policies. Additionally, you will produce a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages, and pro forma analyses to support strategic decision-making. Your ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively will be essential, as you will need to influence various stakeholders and facilitate agreements on shared interests. You will lead by example, embodying the values of CBRE, and will be expected to identify and resolve day-to-day issues that may arise within the team or existing systems and processes. This position requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving departmental objectives.
