About the position

Peter Danielson with Robert Half is hiring for a Finance Manager - Revenue in Portland, Oregon. This role will be pivotal within our team, focusing on revenue growth and financial strategy within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing sales, developing strategic initiatives, and understanding our comprehensive product catalog to identify revenue growth opportunities. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of the company, ensuring that revenue targets are met and exceeded through effective financial management and strategic planning. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to drive financial success. The Finance Manager will also be expected to leverage their expertise in corporate finance to support the company's growth objectives and enhance overall profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain pricing models to support sales function and enhance revenue growth
  • Analyze revenues and perform data mining techniques to inform strategic decisions
  • Conduct growth modeling, both organic and acquisitive, to support corporate expansion
  • Develop and present the analysis behind financial modeling to stakeholders
  • Leverage knowledge of our comprehensive product catalog to identify and capitalize on opportunities for revenue growth
  • Utilize skills in annual budgeting and sales and operations planning to drive financial success

Requirements

  • Bring at least 5 years of corporate finance experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data mining techniques
  • Proven experience in preparing and managing annual budgets
  • Ability to analyze revenues, identifying trends and potential issues
  • Strong understanding and experience in sales and operations planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
  • At least five years of experience in a financial management role
  • CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
  • Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
