About the position

Cable Dahmer Kia of Lees Summit is looking for a Finance Manager to join our growing sales team. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the dealership's finance and insurance operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every customer receives the best financing options available while maximizing profitability for the dealership. You will be expected to analyze financial data to determine dealership profitability and make strategic recommendations for improvement. Additionally, you will work closely with customers to secure financing options that suit their needs and financial situations, while also offering various insurance products such as vehicle service contracts, GAP insurance, and extended warranties to customers, ensuring compliance with all regulations. In this role, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions to secure competitive financing rates and terms for customers. You will collaborate with the sales team to structure deals that are financially beneficial for both the customer and the dealership. Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to automotive finance and insurance is essential, and you will oversee the accurate and timely completion of all finance and insurance paperwork, including contracts and DMV filings. As a leader, you will mentor the finance and insurance team, providing guidance and support to maximize performance while ensuring a seamless and transparent financing process for customers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Regular reporting on finance and insurance performance, including key metrics such as penetration rates and finance income, will also be part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of previous experience in automotive finance management or a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of finance and insurance products, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and lending institutions.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Leadership ability to effectively manage a team and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
