About the position

Rochester Chevrolet Cadillac, part of the Rochester Motor Cars family, is seeking a Finance Manager for our busy dealership located in Rochester, MN. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in dealership management, automotive sales, retail sales, warranty processing, or customer service/support. The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in assisting guests by arranging financing for their vehicle purchases and presenting them with additional products that enhance their ownership experience. In this role, you will be responsible for structuring deals to maximize profitability and collectibility while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines. You will maintain proficiency and certifications as required for the position, accurately desk deals, submit them to lenders for approval, and make informed credit decisions. Additionally, you will prepare all necessary paperwork and contracts, ensuring the expeditious funding of all contracts. Your ability to effectively close deals and audit team deals post-sale will be essential to your success in this position. The ideal candidate will possess a college degree or equivalent experience, along with a strong knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial, as well as strong negotiation and presentation skills. A professional appearance and a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record are also required. Responsibilities

  • Help customers arrange financing for their purchases and present additional products to enhance their vehicle ownership experience.
  • Structure deals for maximum profitability and collectibility.

  • Accurately desk deals, submit them to lenders for approval, and make credit decisions.
  • Ensure all deals are compliant with local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Prepare paperwork, contracts, and deliver deals to customers.
  • Accurately audit team deals post-sale.
  • Ensure the expeditious funding of all contracts.

Requirements

  • Experience in dealership management, automotive sales, retail sales, warranty processing, or customer service/support.
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
