About the position

The Financial Analyst 2 position involves managing and conducting a monthly and yearly target planning process with a focus on the sales deduction portion of monthly revenue close. The role requires ensuring that planning numbers align with the target planning process on a monthly basis, managing promotion activities, and monitoring results and ROI to optimize spending. The analyst will communicate effectively with various teams and stakeholders, conduct reports on TIM status, and analyze P&L and investments to provide appropriate allocations. The position is hybrid, requiring four days in the office and one day of work from home.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and conducts a monthly and yearly target planning process focusing on a sales deduction portion of monthly revenue close.
  • Ensures planning numbers are aligned with the target planning process monthly.
  • Manages promotion activities monitoring results and ROI to provide early warning of overspending or over-forecast of sell-in to optimize SD spend.
  • Communicates professional emails to customers, account team, and RPM teams, articulating complex updates in a simplified way.
  • Conducts reports on TIM status by category and accounts.
  • Works closely with the sales team to drive improved sellout performance.
  • Communicates daily between headquarters and organization on production allocation, delivery requirements, and inventory management.
  • Analyzes P&L, total investment, revenue, and risk to provide/allocate right-sized investments by team and category.
  • Creates a holistic annual planning calendar by month with launches and business metrics.
  • Manages device lifecycle investment planning with TIM investment recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required; Advanced degree preferred.
  • 0-4 years of experience in telecommunications, CPG, and/or retail industry supply chain, business, finance, and sales operations management.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and verbal communications in English and Korean.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • High energy and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work under varying work pressures and be flexible.

  • Ability to influence strategies and make decisions using a data-driven approach.
  • Ability to use a structured problem-solving approach in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience developing presentations using various PC application methods.
  • Ability to synthesize complex business information and make professional business presentations.
