About the position

The Financial Analyst position at JTI - Japan Tobacco International involves supporting the Entity CFO in financial monitoring and tracking within the JTI US Leaf Organization. The role focuses on overseeing expense calculations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and JTI policies, and providing financial analysis for decision-making. The analyst will work closely with various value streams to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support the Entity CFO in financial monitoring and tracking within the JTI US Leaf Organization.
• Oversee the calculation and collection of expenses and metrics, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Create analyses of general ledger accounts for presentation and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and JTI policies and procedures.
• Act as a Value Stream Finance Partner, overseeing expense tracking mechanisms throughout the crop season.
• Prepare ledger comparisons for US GAAP, IFRS, and TAX based on JTI's ERP solution.
• Perform financial oversight for forecasting LE's, ASP & Outlooks associated with Entity Planning.
• Ensure JSOX process controls are performed and documented in accordance with JTI's standards.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Chartered Accountant.
• Previous experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably in an FMCG company.
• Fluency in English with excellent written and oral skills.
• Proven proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, and PowerBI is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in financial analysis within the FMCG sector.
• Familiarity with JSOX compliance processes.
