Financial Analyst

About the position

Vaco is hiring for a Financial Analyst opportunity in the Des Plaines area. This is a direct hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Commercial executives to evaluate pricing proposals ranging in value from tens of thousands to millions of dollars per deal
• Review dozens of pricing proposals each month, ensuring each is complete, presented, and evaluated appropriately
• Complete custom financial analysis for outlier pricing evaluations
• Consult our partners on optimal deal-specific pricing structures
• Gather and analyze market intelligence

Requirements

• Quantitative Bachelor's degree, MBA, or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of experience working in finance, particularly Financial Planning & Analysis or Financial Reporting
• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills, ability to build complex financial models is preferable, not required

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in fleet, automotive, or financing industries or B2B commercial environments is desirable, but not required
