Financial Analyst

About the position

The Financial Analyst will collaborate with business leaders to enhance operational efficiencies by leveraging advanced financial modeling and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular financial analysis and presentations of P&L results for the leadership team and private equity ownership team
• Conduct financial analyses to identify and interpret trends in supply chain performance, driving strategic business insights and improvements
• Develop and produce weekly and monthly scorecard reporting used by Senior Management to drive business performance
• Provide insights as to the business drivers of changes in the P&L, Statement of Cash flows, and Balance Sheet
• Develop and produce reporting for the distribution network in order to help identify opportunities for improvement
• Track and highlight financial performance and investment returns for supply chain initiatives
• Analyze sales and margin performance by product category, highlighting opportunities for margin improvement
• Complete analyses in support of ad-hoc and strategic projects

Requirements

• 1-3 years financial analysis experience
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills: oral, written, and presentation
• Strong financial analysis and modeling background with great attention to detail
• Experience with retail operations a plus
• Hands-on, data driven approach to problem solving
• SAP experience a plus
