Financial Business Analyst

About the position

Infosys is seeking a Business Analyst in Financial Domain. As a Consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Bridgewater NJ or be willing to relocate to the NJ area.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Experience in Banking and financial domain.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
• Ability to deliver results in a techno-functional role, in an Agile environment.
• Strong experience in SQL programming.
• Strong command of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Ability to author thorough, detailed, high-quality documentation.
• Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications.
• Analyze user requirements to define business objectives.
• Strong in object-oriented design principles and functional programming.
• In-depth knowledge of the Java concurrency framework.
• Facilitate the gathering and elicitation of business requirements.
• Prioritize user stories and work expected within the Sprints.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to identify risks and issues and propose improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
