Responsibilities

  • Implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets.
  • Provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds.
  • Evaluate budget requests, controls, and reports of obligations and expenditures.
  • Formulate budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities.
  • Present and defend budget estimates before authorities.
  • Perform a variety of other fiscal, accounting, or financial duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance.
  • Must achieve Financial Management Level I certification within prescribed timelines.

Nice-to-haves
