About the position

You will serve as the Financial Management Analyst for the HQ Army Contracting Command (ACC), Deputy Chief of Staff, Resource Management, G8. This position involves providing professional advice, analysis, and evaluation of financial reports, managing the Government Travel Card (GTC) program, and serving as the Agency's subject matter expert for time and attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice, analysis, and evaluation of reports including trends, execution of travel budgets, unauthorized usage of GTC, and delinquency reports.
• Manage the Government Travel Card (GTC) program for ACC.
• Perform Lead Defense Travel System Administrator (LDTA) duties and responsibilities.
• Serve as the Agency's subject matter expert (SME) for ATAAPS time and attendance (T and A) system and DCPS.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
• Submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
• Obtain FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION LEVEL 2 (FMC02) within 24 months of entrance on duty.
• Appointment is subject to a one-year probationary period.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in preparing estimates of annual funding needs and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Experience in preparing reports about the status of funds, expenses, and obligations for budget requests.
• Familiarity with financial accounting systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning and General Fund Enterprise Business System.
