Financial Risk Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• RADAR ownership and maintenance
• Building of risk reports and dashboards
• Oversight and analysis of financial risk-related information - credit, liquidity, market and capital
• Daily monitoring of financial risk exposures in various parts of the company's businesses
• Identifying and reporting on key financial risks, trends and emerging risks facing the organization.
• Ad hoc risk-related projects and reviews

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in financial services or related industry
• Understanding of Risk Management and reporting - financial or non-financial - with an understanding of how risk analytics conclusions are presented to support effective decision-making
• Ability to assimilate, distill and analyze disparate data sets (structures, sources, formats, code, etc.) to support critical analysis and reach actionable conclusions
• Data analytics background, ideally related to risk management - qualifications in data management, administration, and analytics are required.
• Familiarity with maintaining, configuring and using Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tools - knowledge of Service Now as a GRC tool is a bonus
• Experience in taking big data and building user dashboards for analysis and interrogation using data visualization and business intelligence solutions software - Tableau preferred
• Ability to take business requirements, translate them into accurate functional specifications and deliver accurate and user-friendly data solutions
