About the position

The Financial Service Representative at Goldenwest Credit Union plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service to members by assisting with various financial transactions, account openings, and consumer loan applications. This position emphasizes building long-term relationships with members and ensuring their financial needs are met through tailored services and products.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and effectively manage long-term, trusting relationships with members.
• Complete teller transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Open new accounts for members.
• Process consumer loan applications in a timely manner.
• Assist members by phone while business is being developed.
• Pair corresponding credit union products and services with members' financial needs.
• Provide consistent follow-up with members to ensure satisfaction.
• Comply with all regulations as required by law.
• Actively participate in continuing education related to credit union career development.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Prior retail or consumer lending experience is preferred.
• Strong ability to think critically and solve problems.
• Timely and meticulous attention to verbal and written communication.
• Devotion to earning and maintaining member trust.
• Attentiveness to professionalism in appearance and action.
