Monterra Credit Union is seeking a part-time Financial Services Representative who possesses a broad knowledge of financial products and services. In this position, you will perform assigned cash handling duties associated with processing member transactions and inquiries. You will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient member service on the Teller line, which includes handling deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, posting loan payments, and selling negotiable items. You will also serve as a primary source for handling member inquiries and requests, including the processing of new membership accounts. A thorough knowledge of all Credit Union products and services is essential, as you will need to discuss their features and benefits with members. The role requires you to maintain security and balance of assigned cash reserves and negotiable items at all times, ensuring compliance with Credit Union policies. You will also provide general information and instruction regarding Credit Union products, services, and policies, and may assist in opening new accounts and handling requests related to deceased accounts and fraud situations. Your service will align with the Credit Union's mission of delivering relevant products, services, and education tailored to help our members achieve their financial goals.
