As a Financial Services Representative, you will play a crucial role in building and strengthening member relationships. You will introduce members to new, more efficient ways of banking through our online services, mobile app, and ATMs. Your primary responsibility will be to learn about our members' personal financial goals and recommend tailored solutions to meet their needs. This position requires a strong focus on customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with members to help them achieve their financial objectives. In this role, you will work closely with both new and existing members to understand their financial needs and deepen relationships. You will process routine financial transactions efficiently and accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashier's checks, all while ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines. Additionally, you will provide recommendations and assist members with a wide array of financial solutions to satisfy their spending, savings, borrowing, and investing needs. Educating members on how to bank more efficiently using our web, mobile app, and ATM services will also be a key part of your responsibilities. You will proactively contact members to schedule appointments to discuss their personal financial goals and perform other duties as needed upon request by your immediate supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with new and existing members to understand their financial needs and deepen relationships.
  • Process routine financial transactions for members efficiently and accurately (including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, IRA) in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide recommendations and assist members with a wide array of financial solutions to satisfy their spending, savings, borrowing, and investing needs.
  • Educate members to bank more efficiently using the web, mobile app, and ATM.
  • Provide financial education and services to members to help them fit banking into their everyday lives.
  • Proactively contact members to schedule appointments to discuss their personal financial goals.
  • Perform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School degree or GED required.
  • Minimum one year of general work experience, customer service, call center, sales or branch experience required.
  • Minimum of six months cash handling experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, sales, mathematical, problem solving, multitasking and computer skills, and attention to detail required.
