About the position

As a Financial Services Representative at Fidelity Investments, you will play a crucial role in engaging with customers face-to-face in our Investor Center. Your primary responsibility will be to offer personalized financial guidance and planning, helping clients navigate their investment options and retirement goals. This position allows you to focus on deepening relationships with an existing client base rather than sourcing new clients, thanks to Fidelity's robust business model that includes institutional feeders of business. You will have access to an open architecture product platform and top-tier resources in the financial industry, enabling you to provide comprehensive investment solutions tailored to each client's needs. In this role, you will be expected to utilize your expertise in building relationships and uncovering client needs to recommend appropriate financial solutions. Your ability to present complex investment strategies to a knowledgeable clientele will be essential in establishing rapport and credibility. Fidelity supports your professional growth through training programs and a Tuition Reimbursement program, which can assist you in obtaining certifications such as the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation if you do not already possess one. Your commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience will be paramount, as you will be responsible for mentoring clients and helping them achieve their retirement objectives. Responsibilities

  • Engage face-to-face with customers in the Investor Center to provide personalized financial guidance and planning.
  • Build and nurture relationships with an existing client base, focusing on deepening connections rather than sourcing new clients.
  • Present complex investment solutions to clients, ensuring clarity and understanding while building rapport.
  • Utilize Fidelity's open architecture product platform to offer comprehensive investment solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Support clients in reaching their retirement goals through meticulous planning and investment strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in financial services.

Requirements

  • Previous success in building relationships and uncovering client needs.
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 licensed; Series 65 or 66 licensed or ability to acquire upon hire.
  • Ability to present complex financial solutions to knowledgeable clients while establishing credibility.
  • Degree and/or professional certifications are beneficial; support for obtaining CFP through Tuition Reimbursement is available.
  • Extensive knowledge of investment solutions and strategies.
