About the position

Marshall's Jewelers is seeking a responsible, results-driven, and highly motivated Fine Jewelry Sales Associate to join our team. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual who is ready to take on all sales responsibilities, from providing appropriate product solutions for our customers to nurturing them through the purchase flow from start to finish. The ideal candidate will uphold the ideals and standards of our company and will constantly strive to meet all sales goals while exceeding customer expectations. As a Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, welcoming them with a friendly greeting and providing them with information on our products. Your role will involve selling merchandise to consistently meet or exceed sales expectations, while also providing outstanding customer service to enhance the shopping experience and grow our customer base. You will document sales by creating or updating customer profile records and process payments efficiently, ensuring a smooth transaction process. In addition to sales responsibilities, you will keep clientele informed about preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest. You will contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and will be expected to understand and utilize company policies and procedures to handle customer transactions and resolve service issues appropriately. Your duties will also include performing store setup and closing operations, maintaining the store's cleanliness and safety, and merchandising to create an inviting shopping environment.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and utilizes policies and procedures to be proficient in handling customer transactions and solving customer service issues appropriately.
  • Performs store setup and closing operations, including opening and closing office area and moving jewelry to and from store safe and display areas.
  • Performs basic store maintenance, merchandising, and other required activities to keep the store clean, safe, and inviting.
