Flagger

About the position

At Star Construction, as a Flagger, you'll be a part of safely and correctly directing multi-directional traffic with appropriate signage and general labor duties. Star Construction, LLC provides comprehensive construction services for the telecommunications industry, covering the ACC, Big Ten and SCC states. Passing over 265,000 homes per year, we manage the entire infrastructure lifecycle, from site preparation and buildout to ongoing maintenance. This complete suite of services allows our clients to see swift and successful project completion, even in the most challenging scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Perform traffic control and flagging activities.
• Follow safety rules and regulations on all work zone and flagging sites.
• Place signs, barricades, traffic cones, and other warning devices.
• May be assigned other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• 1 or more years of flagging experience.
• Knowledge of techniques of traffic control.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations, and safety standards in hazardous traffic environments.
