About The Position

The Flight Data Services Associate Product Manager is responsible for leading the Flight Data Services product team and facilitating cross-functional teams to support product delivery and system operations. This role involves managing the product life cycle, resource allocation, and backlog prioritization while collaborating with business stakeholders to enhance product performance and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience working with embedded systems, software development, or data analytics.
  • PMP and Agile/Scrum certifications preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and communicate effectively across multiple levels.

  • Familiarity with data processing systems and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Flight Data Services product.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of flight data management and analytics solutions.
  • Utilize understanding of business stakeholder needs to develop new feature requests and manage release timelines.
  • Manage the backlog to align with the product roadmap.
  • Conduct testing to detect and fix issues for necessary improvements.
  • Allocate resources to appropriate sprints to achieve work packages.
  • Manage the health and performance of the team and the product.
  • Monitor system performance and address technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration and resources across products.
