About the position

The Flight Test Instrumentation Specialist Lvl 2 at Lockheed Martin is responsible for supporting the build, installation/modification, and demodification of instrumentation measurements and supporting equipment on aircraft. This role involves a variety of tasks including metal fabrication, electrical harness fabrication, and maintenance of instrumentation equipment, requiring strong teamwork and communication skills. The position may also involve supervisory responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Support the build, install/modification, and demodification of instrumentation measurements and supporting equipment.
• Oversee metal fabrication, including CNC machining and sheet metal hand forming.
• Fabricate and route electrical harnesses and install structures and electrical components on aircraft.
• Maintain and remove instrumentation measurements and equipment on aircraft.
• Act as a supervisor during supervision absence when required.

Requirements

• Metal fabrication experience
• CNC machining experience
• Harness fabrication and routing (install)
• Flight Line/Aircraft modification experience

Nice-to-haves
