About the position

The Floating Maintenance Supervisor at Aura Living is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations within multifamily communities in the Treasure Valley area. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and community appearance. The supervisor will manage a team of maintenance associates, coordinate with vendors, and ensure the timely completion of maintenance requests while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and delegate duties to on-site maintenance associates
• Schedule and negotiate pricing with outside vendors
• Assist with the training and development of all maintenance associates
• Update and file all maintenance records
• Maintain motivation of associates through positive communication and leadership skills
• Complete interviews and assist in the hiring process of maintenance associates
• Handle performance evaluations of maintenance associates

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years general maintenance experience
• At least 1 year of multi-family, industrial, or institutional service request experience
• Ability to perform all facets of apartment make-ready
• Previous supervisory experience
• Certified pool and spa operator
• Certified and experienced in HVAC repair and replacement
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electronic systems, and major appliances
• Basic knowledge of computer and MS Office
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required
