About The Position

As a Floor Technician at Sodexo, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality cleaning services that ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff. This position requires a commitment to teamwork, adaptability, and reliability, as well as a focus on creating a positive working atmosphere.

Requirements

• 12 months of related work experience preferred
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces
• Clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers
• Wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding
• Assist in training other employees
• Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements.
