About the position

The Floor Care Facility Manager is responsible for executing and delivering a comprehensive floor and upholstery maintenance program for Citizens. This role involves coordinating and directing a team of floor care technicians and external vendors, ensuring high-quality service across various flooring types and upholstery, while also providing general cleaning support to janitorial teams and maintaining equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day floor care, upholstery cleaning, and janitorial cleaning coverage operations of multiple retail banking and main office facilities.
  • Develop and manage site(s) budgets.
  • Host a daily safety standup to review the day's activities and discuss safety-related topics.
  • Complete assigned inspection activities for floor care activities and other areas as needed.
  • Lead service provider(s) and coordinate vendor activities to ensure consistency across the portfolio.
  • Assess work completed by colleagues and external vendors against safety and performance standards and handle necessary corrective actions.
  • Manage workforce tasks including hiring, approving time sheets, and completing performance reviews.
  • Perform routine site inspections to review ongoing maintenance activities and develop corrective action plans.
  • Assist Retail Facility Managers when needed to provide temporary general cleaning coverage and expedite work orders.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in the Floor Care program.
  • Close out work orders upon completion via iPad or Computerized Maintenance Management System.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and materials and purchase supplies as needed.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained and utilized safely.
  • Coordinate with Property Facility Manager for temporary cleaning coverage to avoid vendor spend.
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency service requests and prioritize work order response.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience in commercial Floor Care.
  • 3 or more years of experience leading Floor Care crews.
  • Proven customer service experience and/or abilities.
  • Competent use of MS Office applications including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload.
  • Proven track record to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
