The Social Content Creator + Editor will utilize standard electronic video and audio offline editing systems to assemble video and audio tracks into footage that meets defined content objectives. This role involves assisting with special effect support as needed and evaluating and selecting scenes for content continuity to obtain the desired impact, with guidance from a supervisor. The position requires exercising routine editorial judgment capability, which can be easily redirected for desired effects. The Social Content Creator + Editor will assist in producing videos for international events and internal department highlights. This role will contribute creative ideas in a group setting and will be responsible for post-production tasks such as editing videos, adding text overlays, creating motion graphics, and working interactively with clients and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery while meeting quality standards. Effective communication of ongoing project status with the production team is essential, as is keeping up to date with advances in computer technology and video editing. The individual will create and fulfill multiple types of video projects from idea inception to publication, collaborating with product owners and other members of the video team throughout the pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
