About the position

Williams-Sonoma is seeking a Forklift Driver for our Distribution Center located in Olive Branch, MS. This position is part of a dynamic and fast-paced supply chain environment that plays a crucial role in connecting our factories with retail, online, and mail-order customers worldwide. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for various tasks including scanning put-aways to reserve locations, pulling from reserve, and handling high volume singles. You will also be expected to move pallets from outbound drop zones to backstock areas and place pallets from drop zones to backstock locations. The work schedule for this position is from Wednesday to Saturday, 5 PM to 3:30 AM. In this role, you will be certified to operate various types of Raymond Brand Forklifts, including Order Picker, Reach Truck, Swing Reach, and Dock Stocker. You will work at a pace that meets departmental productivity and quality standards, utilizing a hand-held device for scanning and managing pick tickets. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on maintaining a safe working environment and will be flexible to work in various departments as needed, especially during peak seasons. Responsibilities

  • Scan put-aways to reserve locations
  • Pull from Reserve (PFR)
  • Handle High Volume Singles (HVS) tasks
  • Move pallets from Outbound (OB) drop zones to backstock areas
  • Place pallets from drop zones to backstock locations
  • Operate Raymond Brand Forklifts including Order Picker, Reach Truck, Swing Reach, and Dock Stocker
  • Use a hand-held device for scanning and managing pick tickets
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 1 year of forklift driving experience with Order Picker (OP), Reach Truck (RT), and/or Swing Reach (SW) and Dock Stocker (DS)
  • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting the Radio Frequency Scanner (RF Scanner)
  • Ability to read and match numbers for order accuracy
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to meet/exceed Labor Management (LM) Rates weekly
  • Flexibility to work alternate schedules during peak season
  • Willingness to work in various departments and buildings as needed

Nice-to-haves
