About the position
The Forklift Operator is responsible for loading and unloading trailers with wooden pallets and moving pallets inside the plant. This role requires adherence to safety regulations and the ability to work in a labor-intensive environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers with wooden pallets.
- Move pallets inside the plant.
- Observe all safety rules and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- Quick hands and attention to detail.
- Commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a labor-intensive environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction is strongly preferred.
