About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Formulation Chemist to join our dynamic team in the Chemicals industry. This role is critical for the development and improvement of chemical formulations, ensuring they meet performance standards and safety regulations. The Formulation Chemist will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to transform innovative ideas into actionable solutions, contributing to various projects in sectors such as foliar fertilizers, organic pesticides, and consumer goods.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and formulate new chemical products that meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct experiments and analyze data to optimize formulations for enhanced performance and stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and marketing, to bring new products to market.
  • Evaluate and improve existing formulations based on performance testing and customer feedback.
  • Research and stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and advancements in formulation technology.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations throughout the formulation process.
  • Document formulation processes, results, and any modifications in compliance with standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in formulation chemistry within the chemicals industry or a similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of organic and analytical chemistry principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation for testing formulations.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and troubleshoot formulation issues effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting findings.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
