About The Position

The Foster Care Case Aide position involves working closely with Social Workers to oversee and coordinate services for children, youth, and young adults in foster care. The role serves as a liaison between various departments, placing agencies, and community resources, ensuring that all necessary services and support are provided effectively.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and be computer literate.
• Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
• Valid, unrestricted California driver's license and current vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Social Workers with referrals and tracking necessary documents required by contract.
• Audit the contractually required electronic portal system and maintain communication with treatment team members.
• Facilitate support groups and training for assigned children and/or Resource Parents as required by the program or contract.
• Provide structured orientation to child and family regarding policies, procedures, and address any questions or concerns.
• Document services provided to each child, youth, or young adult and maintain accurate logs for outside services.
• Provide necessary transportation and escort clients to court appointments, medical health screenings, and other services as needed.
