About the position

As Founding Product Designer at Jump, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product by merging top-tier design skills with product management expertise. This position underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences at world-class speed. You will collaborate closely with Jump's founders, engineering teams, and customer experience teams to lead the design and product definition for our AI Assistant tailored for Financial Advisors. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed product requirements and specifications, designing aesthetically pleasing and pixel-perfect mockups, and building and iterating on an existing design system. You will work in tandem with engineers to ensure seamless implementation and engage with customers to inform design and product decisions. A key aspect of your role will be balancing user needs with business goals and technical constraints, all while contributing to making Jump an exceptional workplace.

Responsibilities

• Creating detailed product requirements and specifications
• Designing aesthetically beautiful, pixel-perfect mockups
• Building and iterating on an existing design system
• Working closely with engineers on implementation

Requirements

• Led design on successful web and mobile applications
• Mastered Figma, with a portfolio to prove it
• Created and maintained design systems
• Worked closely with engineering teams and understand technical trade-offs
• Gained experience in product management or collaborated closely with product managers
