Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reports to support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for the Merchandise function
  • Create, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to surface sales trends and actionable insights for various business partners
  • Leverage advanced data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) and financial systems to optimize analytical processes
  • Collaborate with the business partners across the organization on weekly, monthly, and quarterly processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare clear, concise exhibits and presentations that translate complex analysis into actionable insights
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing workloads and meeting tight deadlines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; or equivalent experience in a finance-related role
  • 1-3 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in retail or similar industry
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, and pivot tables) and experience querying large datasets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure, navigate ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
