About the position

As an FP&A Analyst you serve as a financial business partner to the North America Sales and Marketing team. You will be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for the budgeting, planning and forecasting processes. You will be providing monthly and ad hoc reporting to the Management team to enhance visibility and understanding of the drivers of business performance. Critical aspect of the role is the ability for prompt and thorough support and reporting to the team. The role will own upward reporting of budgets, plans and forecasts, supporting the North America FP&A Manager to ensure all requirements are met. The role will also be responsible for the review of the monthly results and communication/reporting of these to the key stakeholders. There will be lots of opportunity for development and learning in this fast-moving and results-orientated company which places a heavy emphasis on continuous improvement both for the company and you.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly forecasting for the North America Sales and Marketing team
  • Analysis and reporting of operating costs and operating efficiencies in consultation with the team
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial close
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget
  • Modeling for decision support in all facets of the business
  • Organizing and prioritizing workload so that key duties/projects are completed on a timely basis
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience required
  • Expert Excel user
  • Experience with SAP and Hyperion HFM is preferable
  • Experience with Onstream and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus
  • A 'self-starter' mentality and proactive approach to propose and implement improvements
  • A ‘hands on’ work style, comfortable with the detail without losing the big picture
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, handle a demanding and fluctuating workload and at the same time provide accurate and reliable data
  • Demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detail with a steadiness under pressure
  • Solid communication and presentation skills
  • Confident, enthusiastic and a team player
  • Must have strong results orientation and a sense of urgency, able to deal with uncertainties

  • Advanced degree is a plus
