About the position
The Fresh Channel Coordinator at Wawa is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Fresh Channel Cross Dock. This role involves supporting the Fresh Channel team, collaborating with various departments, and maintaining relationships with vendor partners and store operations. The coordinator analyzes data to identify issues and propose effective solutions, ensuring smooth operations and communication across teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily tasks of the Fresh Channel Cross Dock operation.
- Utilize Wawa ticketing software to communicate store reported issues with Fresh Channel to vendor partners.
- Work with Store Operations and vendors to identify root causes and establish resolutions for issues.
- Communicate vendor critical out of stock items to executive leadership daily.
- Analyze vendor data to understand stock availability and communicate updates accordingly.
- Assist in identifying and resolving performance gaps with Fresh Channel vendor partners.
- Enter donation requests in SAP for community events and coordinate with vendor partners for execution.
- Enter credits in SAP to adjust store inventory and provide month-end data for accounting.
- Mentor and coach other Supply Chain admins on customer service resolution and SAP processes.
- Identify opportunities for increased supply chain efficiency and cost savings.
- Perform daily inventory reconciliation between SAP and vendor partner systems.
- Coordinate ad hoc distributions to stores and manage the Supply Chain team's on-call schedule.
- Manage inventory of McLane supplies and cut POs in SAP.
- Coordinate New Store Grand Opening deliveries and assist with special projects as needed.
- Report long-term out of stocks and Fresh Channel updates to the Store Ops supply chain communication team.
- Perform audits of various partners as needed and assist with event coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3+ years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
