About the position

The Front End Manager at BJ's Wholesale Club is responsible for overseeing all Front-End business components to ensure exceptional service and value delivery. This role involves managing team members, executing company programs, and driving membership metrics and performance standards. The manager will lead a team to achieve operational excellence while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and direct all Front-End business components.
• Provide oversight and direction to exceed performance expectations in areas such as Frontline, Membership, and Utility Clerks.
• Execute company programs to drive membership metrics and improve VOM scores.
• Act as a key holder for the club and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Teach, coach, and lead through the club level training process.
• Guarantee service excellence through all points of contact and set service standard expectations for team members.
• Evaluate departmental performance using company reporting tools and make operational decisions to maximize sales and member experience.
• Collaborate with Assistant Club Manager to assess team member performance and develop talent.

Requirements

• Previous customer service or sales work experience required.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Email) required.
• High school diploma or college degree preferred.
• Experience in big box wholesale, retail, grocery, and/or management is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including managing/supervising cross-functional teams.
