This position is responsible for leading a group of Fuel Contract Managers within the Americas PWR Fuel Delivery organization to ensure customers receive fuel contract deliverables in accordance with planned schedules while developing and achieving the target business plan objectives for Revenue, EBIDTA, Cash Flow, and Orders Entered. The Fuel Portfolio Manager will manage fuel customer relationships and effectively interface with internal counterparts (PWR Fuel Delivery, Account Teams, Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations) to ensure Fuel Delivery attributes of the contracts are met to organizational standards of Safety, Quality, and OTIFWC. This role includes strong support for the Fuel offer input process for fuel hardware related contract extension opportunities, including defining contractual related changes, interfacing with Product Management on product offering, and development of cost basis and recommended pricing. Additionally, the manager will provide fuel customer demand input and contractual information to the business planning process to establish business plan objectives through collaboration with Finance and Global SIOP. The Fuel Portfolio Manager will ensure that the fuel business plan objectives of Revenue, EBITDA, and Cash Flow are achieved by ensuring delivery schedules are met. This includes actively engaging with finance to monitor financial performance, report results/forecast, and adjust as needed. The manager will also ensure Cash Flow objectives are achieved by managing the fuel contract invoicing process to provide on-time and accurate invoices, ensuring effective systems are in place to confirm accurate invoicing, and working with the Shared Service Center to improve where needed. The role requires ensuring accurate and effective processes for customer communications related to fuel delivery issues and other topics. The manager will work in conjunction with the Americas Fuel Delivery and with the Account Teams to develop capture strategy for fuel contract extensions and support the commercial team in fuel contract negotiations to achieve Orders Entered. Engaging in the Global SIOP process to provide updated demand forecasts monthly and status of product transition is also a key responsibility. The Fuel Portfolio Manager will provide leadership for a group of Fuel Contract Managers to ensure execution of fuel-related contracts to organizational standards of Safety, Quality, and OTIFWC, while also ensuring ongoing continuous improvement in department processes and employee development. Finally, the manager will support new product development, implementation, and customer acceptance by identifying customer needs and obtaining schedule on product feature transition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.
  • 10 plus years of applicable experience required.
  • Extensive working knowledge of business operations, preferably in a nuclear environment.
  • Ability to effectively influence and coordinate activities across multiple organizations.
  • Ability to make effective business decisions balancing customer requests and product line capabilities.
  • Ability to negotiate with customers to meet their needs while protecting Westinghouse's interests.
