About the position

As a Full Stack Developer at Pinnacle Technical Resources, you will be an integral part of the Credit Card Technology Team within the Consumer and Community Bank. This role requires expertise in full stack design techniques and experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems and infrastructures for large-scale programs. You will be recognized as a leader in Agile methodologies, cultivating teams that work within Agile frameworks, and may serve as a coach for at least one technical skill. Your responsibilities will include executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, while thinking beyond conventional approaches to build innovative solutions and resolve technical problems. In this position, you will create secure and high-quality production code, maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems, and produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. You will be accountable for ensuring that design constraints are met through software code development. Additionally, you will gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems. Your role will also involve designing and delivering trusted data collection, storage, access, and analytics data platform solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. You will define database backup, recovery, and archiving strategies, design and develop data pipelines to ingest, store, and process data from multiple sources, and proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture. As part of your contributions, you will engage with software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies, while fostering a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets.
  • Design and deliver trusted data collection, storage, access, and analytics data platform solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way.
  • Define database backup, recovery, and archiving strategy.
  • Design and develop data pipelines to ingest, store, and process data from multiple sources.
  • Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
  • Experience with AWS cloud technologies, including S3.
  • Experience with SQL-based technologies (e.g., MySQL/Oracle DB).
  • Proficient in coding in one or more languages; Java or Python.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Experience with statistical data analysis and ability to determine appropriate tools and data patterns to perform analysis.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.
