About The Position

The Full Stack Developer - AWS role at CGI involves collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience in the P&C insurance domain. Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience developing Front-End Solutions using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML5.
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS services such as AWS ECS, AWS Fargate, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS Cognito, AWS AppSync, AWS DynamoDB, and AWS RDS.
  • Experience integrating with backend services using REST API and GraphQL endpoints.
  • Skilled in developing automated tests using Jasmine, Karma, Mocha, and related technologies.
  • Experience in developing and deploying frontend solutions in AWS environments.
  • Familiarity with SSO using OIDC Connect and OAuth 2.0.
  • Proficient in building secure REST APIs and integrating with RESTful endpoints and messaging-based systems.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, JUnit, NodeJS, TypeScript, Python, Docker, and Containers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using UX designs from FIGMA.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders and team members to deliver IT solutions.
  • Develop user interfaces using the Angular framework as part of an agile team.
  • Write frontend code using JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML based on UX designs in Figma.
  • Create backend services for AWS-based cloud-native applications, including serverless APIs and data streaming pipelines.
  • Ensure high-quality code delivery along with automated unit tests to meet SonarQube quality gates.
  • Design and develop integration solutions with external REST APIs.
  • Work with UX Designers, Architects, and Product Owners to implement full stack web applications.
  • Document and present designs, and conduct solution demos and walkthroughs.
